Backup auto-run

I created a backup script and I want to execute it either at system start-up
or logon. I've entered it into the schedule but the damn thing never runs.

Is there something I need to do to have this thing execute? I know the
early operating systems needed it loaded as a TSR but I would think XP
already has it installed?

If your script runs when you double click it create a shortcut to it in the
startup group.
