Autoplay on Smartmedia insert

I've got a sandisk imagemate 6 in 1 reader, which I'm using to read my
smartmedia card from my digital camera. Upon insert, it does NOT come up
with the 'MS camera and scanner transfer wizard' or whatever it's called.
I'm wondering how to make Windows do this?

I have went to the drive letter (J:) for my smartmedia card, went to
properties, autoplay, and made sure for Picture Files that it does the
wizard, but it's like Windows still ignores this. Something is not right.
I've only had this for a short while (the 6 in 1 reader) but I'm pretty sure
when I first plugged it in, that it came up with this wizard and I told it
to always perform this action on the transfer wizard.

This wizard is super cool and does a lot for me. Now I have to manually do
everything which is doable, but I sure wish I could get this going again.

Anybody have any ideas at all?

I have winxp home, a dell 4600, all the security updates.

Thanks in advance,

Ken

With a similar (but not identical) reader, I don't bother with Autoplay
or the like - put the media card in the reader, then look for it as a
removable drive in My Computer. DOuble click to open a window, and use
it just as if it were a hard drive; drag files out to any folder of my
choice elsewhere
