auto laoding Favorites

Unwanted favorites are being loaded to my list when I open
Explorer. I delete them, but the next time I open the
application, the unwanted favorites are loaded again. I
am not sure how to stop this from happening. Is there
some type of executable that is automatically running
every time I open the application? Any advice?

Find and remove the malware that's causing this with programs such as
Ad-aware and Spybot.
