Hiyall
I'm deciding on building a SFF computer that should last me the next 5+ years (I know ... that's a lot). I 've decided on a shuttle case and AMD processor etc.... but not sure on the video card to use.
I want tv out dual monitor, decent 3D performance and any video in is a bonus. Yet it needs to be within my budget, that is 200CDN tops.
Tthe card that I'm looking into is ATI ALL-IN-WONDER 9600 for about 190CND. This card is more than a year old but it has a variety of great features like the TV tuner and a remote control, which are great since I'm putting these into a SFF PC.
Does anyone have this card or any other recomendationes for a card with similar features for less.

thanks.

The 9600 AIW is a fine card, though a little dated.

It should suit all your requirements and has VIVO (Video In, Video Out).

Just don't expect to play the latest games on it with decent settings.

And what currency is CND? Canadian dollars?

Yep, stick with the 9600 AIW, it's much, much better.

As desirable as the 9800 Pro AIW is, this guy has a budget of $200.00

The 9800 Pro AIW currently sells for $378 from Canadian store Tiger Direct.

200 Canadian dollars = 93 UK pounds.

200 American dollars = 114 UK Pounds

At current exchange rates.

In reality, American stuff sells cheaper, so an item selling for £200 will usually be available for around $200 in America. But I think we're talking Canadian dollars here, though I not entirely sure.
