appwiz.cpl fails with parse error

Hi anybody,
I have a serious problem with "Add or remove programs" in control panel (appwiz.cpl).

Anytime I call one "Add or remove programs", a message box with title "Parser message" and content
"Value creation failed '' at line 410" shows up.

I've installed the english XP professional with integrated SP1a from a MSDN DVD.

The error occurs even after the first start of the OS after installation.
I've installed no other software, it's a clean OS.

Any suggestions ?

Are you able call the search from the start menu, if that fails then you
have the pinfi (NAV description) virus on your system, I had similiar
problems and had to do a complete reformat form clean CD.

I just scanned my hd with an actual virus scanner
It seems that my system is not infected with a virus

search google with the string "+xp +parser +410 +error".
This leads to a discussion thread in microsoft.public.windowsxp.general
I copied class_ss.dll and renamed it to shellstyle.dll (as described).
Now my system works
