Animation gets cut off in HTML

I have converted my PPT to HTML and have added in some basic animation
(sound) in some pages to start automatically when the slide comes on in a
slideshow. It seems all good and I then made copies for others to access the
HTML. However, in some computers, the animation (or sound in this case) gets
cut off at the start when each slide comes on. Each slide was timed at 2 secs
- could it be that I need to give it more time before the next slide comes
on? Or is it something I am not doing right when I put in the animation - eg,
it should be "after previous" vs "with previous" etc.?
