I'm trying to schedule my dialup internet connection to start automatically
early in the morning to allow automatic updates. After going through the
schedule wizard I get an error 0x800700005: Access denied. You do not have
permission to perform scheduled task. I am logged on as the administrator.
If this isn't the group to be in maybe someone can point me in the right
direction. Thanks

This may have nothing to do with your problem but I had problems with
scheduled tasks until I created a user password and then used it when
setting up the task.

Thanks Guys, I didn't realize that when it wanred the user password it
meant the password I use to logon. After I entered that the scheduled task
started OK. Now the proplem is that when I start the ATT XConnection formy
dial up I get a screen that I have to click the CONNECT box to start the
commection. I want to be able to start it automatically. I think I have to
find out more about command line parameters, if that's what I think it
is..I'll keep working on it. Thanks anyhow.

I have used MacroExpress to do the same thing. Might be what you need plus
alot more.
