There is a newsgroup for games, someone there might have info:
microsoft.public.windowsxp.games.

Believe there's 3 different games called "Age of Empires" by MS. Original,
II, and III. AOE 4 is for Xbox. None will work with the other in zone.
That's not counting upgrade sets in the count.
