Advanced Networking Pack Installation

Any help on the following would be appreciated and i will gladly supply more
information.

Installed Advanced Networking Pack via windows update. Everything seems to
be fine until i install the P2P component at which point i receive 4 NetBT
errors at every system restart (see error below) and the system seems to
lockup for 2-3 minutes at each restart. A simple uninstallation of the pack
does not cure it. I had to restore to the point when the pack was installed.

Windows XP Pro fully installed and patched (i had to uninstall the advanced
networking pack)
DSL via Intel PRO/100 VE onboard adapter w/ latest Intel drivers
No local network at present
Sygate Personal Firewall Pro
NAV2003
All sevices at default startup values.
FTP, SMTP,WWW in 'Stopped' mode
