Add second HD

Just added a second hard drive to my kids Dell D4100 running XP Home, the drive shows in device manager but not in "My Computer" When I go to properties under Device manager and click on populate it shows "not initialized" Any ideas?

Right click on My Computer and select Manage. Then go to Storage, Disk
Management. You can partition and format your new hard drive there.
