Add a new object to existing cutom anim group?

I am tweaking a faculty members custom animation. I works well but he
used images that were 10 million by 12 million pixels ;^)

I have downsized the images and placed them on the slide where they
need to go. however, I cam not figure out how to add a new image to
one of the already defined groups in the Custom Animationwork area?
Thoughts? sympathies?

Two options.

Option 1 (provided you are using PPT 2002+), make the new object have the
same animation, same timing, same speed, etc. so it animates literally at
the same time as the others.

Option 2: Use this add-in that allows you to copy your animation settings,
ungroup, regroup with the new object and reapply the animation exactly as it
