How do you load programs to select user accounts? I have
5 user accounts on my computer. Two of those account are
my grandchildren. When I load up new game/education
software, the also so on everyone eleses desktops/program
list as well. Is it possible to load software to only
limited users? Please help.\\

Right click the Start button and select Explore All Users. Locate the
shortcuts in question, copy them to Document and Settings\<username>\Start
Menu\Programs\<subfolder> for the user account you want to have this
shortcut. Then delete the original.

And, for desktop icons do similarly as Doug has outlined
but in the .\desktop subdirectory.
You may find it useful to define a directory, such as at
the first level within Program Files, for example one named
Shared Apps. You could then copy the start menu shortcuts
into this, and then make a shortcut to this from each of the
account's start menus. Then, in the future when a new app
is installed you can copy from All Users to here and be
done with it, rather than having to copy into each account's
profile.
