Access Violation in IE6 have downloaded Service Pack

Ok, I am stuck here so I need help. I have a machine that will not allow the
user to get into IE without displaying a ton of "Access Violation at
address..."errors. This message is followed by different numbers but I have
to go into the Task Manager in order to remove this. The users can then not
use IE to surf the web. I also tried installin SP2 for XP but when I log in
I get Dr.Watson errors and can not do anything. Any ideas because I am
stumped.

Access Violation at address (a string of numbers here that varies with each
message.)
