A file just won't go away!

Please help me!

I have this really large avi-file on my hard-drive and I
can't remove it. Whenever I try to delete it it says that
the file is in use by someone else or another program.

No matter how many times I reboot my computer or even
shut down every single process in taskmanager it still
won't go away. There simply can't be a program using it
(I have no autostart-objects either).

Anyone know the solution to this? I'd be extremly
grateful.

Hi Jim,

Open Windows Media Player, remove that file from the playlist. Close WMP,
then try deleting the file.

thankyou anyway but...
Well it's just that I don't use wmp to play videos and it
wasn't in it's playlist anyway. I think it's more complex
than that since the file is quite obviously corrupt and
every time I select it, explorer steals 100% of the cpu
for atleast a minuite and I can't check the files
properties since nothing happens when I try to do
something with it.
