2007 Indexing

How do I create an index in 2007? Start from the beginning please, I am very
new to 2007. Thank you. Kathryn
 
Use the commands in the Index group on the References tab of the ribbon. For
example, the Mark Entry button displays the Mark Index Entry dialog box.
