OFAH, Some Mothers Do Ave Em, Open All Hours, Steptoe And Son, Fawlty Towers in my view are amongst the best british comedy sketches ever!

Only fools and Horses, all the Carry-On films, people just think there crude and dated now but i still love-em, I'm dirty like that, (he he)...

And The Office was just brilliant, Oh and The Goodies used to love watching those, certain sketches always stick in my memory....:D

Any stand up by the following: Dave Chappelle, Peter Kay, Dave Spikey, Chris Rock, Richard Pryor, Chris Tucker, Jimmy Carr, Ricky Gervais or Bill Bailey.

As for funny tv shows, little britain, the office, red dwarf, the chappelle show, the catherine tate show, curb you enthusiasm and bo selecta. Infact i like 90% of comeday shows made after 1998'ish ;).

Usual suspects:

Fawlty Towers
Only Fools & Horses
The Young Ones
Monty Python
Not The Nine O Clock news

As I haven't watched TV for around seven years now, I've never seen Little Britain or The Office.

From what I'm told I think I'd really have enjoyed Little Britain.

Best Comedy

Got to be Fawlty Towers... been laughing at that since i was a kid. Vicar of Dibley is the best modern one in my books!

Anything British created before l989, haven't watched tv since then.

Some of my favourites were: Dave Allen, Are You Being Served?, Keeping Up Appearances, Fawlty Towers, The Good Life, To The Manor Born and many more that I can't think of right now.

Red Dwarf, Yes Minister/Prime Minister, Spin City was great. Vicar of Dibley is pretty good.

Believe it or not, I`m not a fan of Little Britain......?
