Yahoo web pages now lack ads, only X is displayed where ads used to be

Recently I noticed that a lot of my Yahoo sites are not displaying the ads
on top of the web page, insted there is an x showing in its place. This
problem is not just on Yahoo sites, but sites that have a lot of ads. I
updated my Java, and that is no help.

Please Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have a problem so you can't see ads????? Lets us know when you develop
a problem so we don't get spam

I can't say if I have ever been prevented from seeing ads, haven't really
been looking for them, but I do sometimes find the same thing happens
with pictures I DO want to see. I have never been able to figure out why
this happens (doens't happen all the time) nor how to fix it.
