XP workstation cannot open shares on WIN98 workstation

Hi,
My XP workstation cannot open shares on WIN98 workstation.
I am using protocol TCPIP. Both workstations can PING
each other by name or IP address. Both can access the web.

THe Win98 workstation can see the XP box in Network
neightborhood, but cannot pass validation (I expected
that).

THe XP box cannot see WIN98 box in Network Neighborhood.

Any Clues on how to access WIN98 shares from XP
workstation?

You got to use the same name on the win 98 logon, for the
windows xp user permission on a shared folder

Example if you want to share "C:\works" you need to:

1 - Create a user on the win xp with the same name that
on the win 98 (thats because win 98 doen't ask for a user
name when it tries to connect to another computer)

2 - Set the share for that user and permissions (it's
recomended to turn off "simple file sharing" on
the "Folder options window")

Sory about my bad english....
