Can someone point me to in the right direction.. I have batch of 30 XP
workstations setup to use Samba server but not part of AD or PDC..
I used to see the all the workstations in the workgroup.
But suddenly I cannot see any of the workstations in any of the workgroups
around the campus from XP but able to see the workstations from WIN98 in the
Network neighbourhood.. but I am able to map a drive to the samba server.
Is there a way of checking if XP workstations are not setup as Master
Browsers so that they are not fighting each other over election of browser.
I am not sue if there is master browser in the Domain., but I was told that
the samba server was upgraded to V3 and since then I have lost the
workgroups on the XP side. Any help appreciated.
