XP Pro Slow Wake-up from Standby when connected to NT Server

I have encountered a Dell C400 Laptop with Windows XP Professional and all
updates that takes two minuets to 'wake up' from standby when docked and
logged into a Windows NT sp6a Server. The server reports a warning in the
event log when this happens: W3SVC The server was unable to logon the
windows nt account 'iusr_xxxxx' due to the following error: login failure:
unknown user name or bad password... But the machine then continues to work
happily with full access to the shares on the server as well as the printers
on the server. The server is not a web server so i stopped the World Wide
Web service et the problem still persists. Other XP Pro machines in the
office do not have this problem. What service is running on this laptop
that is making it try to log into the web server on the nt server? Any
suggestions on how to troubleshoot and resolve this problem are greatly
appreciated. Thank you.

DHCP, FTP, mapped drive or an explorer session that was last browsing the
server would be my guess.
