John C.

This program (wupdater.exe) does not shut down properly
when I shut down or log off. I must "End Now" to get it
to shut down.

What is the cure to this problem?

Thanks,
John

Wupdater is part of the GAIN system. Gain is used by adware
support programs such as Kazaa and DivX to feed ads to ypu
from their partners. All of their installers ans
applications need to be entered in your firewall in order
to function properly. Mcafee security also will kill the app
as spyware.

Greetings

"wupdater.exe" is not a valid Windows XP file. It's either a virus or some
type of spyware.
