Wrong page displays

I'm having a really annoying problem. When I'm browsing,
explorer will start going to different web addresses than
the ones I'm trying to go to. I can type the same address
and go to different pages simply by hitting refresh.
Sometimes the pages are even combinations of pages I've
just explored. I have to shut down and restart to
continue browsing the net. I don't have any spyware
active as I have a program to remove it and I don't have
any virus or other problems as I've checked that...
HELP?!?!?!?!?!

CrazyTed,
"I don't have any spyware active as I have a program to remove it"
You scanned with what program? Sounds like you still have some left-overs?

I don't believe it's spyware as it doesn't send me to a
specific page, it just brings up the wrong url. Most times
it's someplace that I've recently been...

Hi,
You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK

Possibly your cache folder is corrupt:

If the problem still exists, see previous message .....
