Working printer all the sudden doesn't mystery

I have an Hp Officejet d145 that has been working for
many months. Lately I have tried printing but after I
click the print button up pops an error message
saying "This document failed to print." and I checked the
event viewer and got these details

Version: 5.0
Symbolic Name: MSG_PRINT_ON_PROC_FAILED
Message: The document %1 owned by %2 failed to print on
printer %3. Win32 error code returned by the print
processor: %4. %5

This is really frustrating and has caused me trouble and
I have an important paper due.
