Playing with a small table, and trying to set a single
field primary key, but get an error stating that there are
already duplicate values. I have deleted any
relationships to that table, removed all indexes and
visually checked that field for duplicate values but there
are none...am i missing something?

Gilian,
Have you looked for records with blank or null key values?
Bruce

.
Hi Bruce,
the primary key i'm trying to designate is a natural key
and an essential part of the record, there cannot be any
nulls or blanks in that field (duplicates are common
errors in data entry though). There are only 150 records
in this table, so i should have spotted blanks. This
table has been imported from DBIII, could that have
something to do with it?
