With German CD key English Vista Home

My friend has Samsung Laptop.
It came with Vista Home (German version).
Can we install Vista Home English version and then use the CD Key of the
Vista Home (German version)?
Thank a lot from now.

Not correct,
There is nothing tying a specific key to a specific DVD.
If you purchase retail Vista any version and I purchase Retail Vista
of a different version, our keys will work with each others media.

If Windows Vista prevents use of a key purchased with a different
language media, that is new as the keys worked for other languages in
windows XP.

That is *not* correct. The product key is not on the DVD (or CD, in
the case of Windows XP), and there is nothing that ties the two
together. The key represents the license, and not the DVD or CD.

The key needs to match the disk with respect to Retail vs. OEM, Full
vs. Upgrade, and version (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, or
Ultimate).

Thanks for all for your reply.
But I could not get in.
Both windows vista home premium.
But one is German the other is English.
And we tried four or five times and we could not register it.
Is there anything that we are doing wrong?
Or what else we can do? Because we do not what to buy another one.
Thanks from now.
