Wireless wont get on the net

We have a toshiba laptop, and have jus got a Linksys Wireless - G ADSL Gateway router and Wireless - G (802.11g) radio card. The router can connect to the radio card fine with full signal, but the router wont connect to the internet, the light stays on red (faild connection) we have broadband with wanadoo, which came with a soft touch modem. The router says it has an ADSL modem built in, yet wont connect? Does any one know how to make these things work??

The postman cannot deliver the letter because it does not have an address on it.

You'll need to register the "MAC address" of the modem with Wannapoo
