Wireless Network Connection - Wireless networking unavailable

Hi All,

I've started to get a pop up from the task bar saying
that "Wireless Network Connection - Wireless networking
unavailable", even though I've disabled wireless
networking. It's popping up every minute or so and
becoming a real pain.

How can I stop this happening?

Thanks,

Greetings Rob,

I take you are not part of a wireless network? If so, try stopping the WZC
service.

Open the command prompt, and type "net stop WZCSVC" (without quotes).

The press ENTER.

Please let us know how it works.

Eric,

Thanks for this - it does stop the symptoms, until the
next reboot.

I was wondering why the computer has started to exhibit
this behaviour though - Clearly when I disable wireless
networking it shouldn't pop this stupid message up saying
wireless networking unavailable as I already know that
from disabling it!

Anyone any ideas?

Cheers,

Rob
