I am attempting to load service pack 2 but when it comes to the loading of
VIA 4 in1 driver it shuts the computer down. I am doing an upgrade from CD. I
have tried to point to the already installed drivers on the C: but it shuts
down. I downloaded and burned to a CD the newest driver and still does the
same thing. It says that Windows has encountered and serious error and is
shutting down. Then does a memory dump at restarts.

What can I do to fix this.. I don't want to lose any data.
