WinXP Pro Shared Docs Folder not accessible, shared folder is accessible

FOr some reason, I can nolonger access the SharedDocs folders on the
different machines on my network. They are visible in "My Network
Places" but when I try and open them I get an error message
"\\computer name\SharedDocs is not accessible"

If I explicitly share a folder on the computers though, I can access
the shared folder with no problems.

Based on some of the earlier posts, I confirmed that Internet
Connection Sharing was disabled and that there were no firewalls
running.

What is wrong with the SharedDocs folder?
