winupd.dll & wincore.dll error message

Hello. I am receiving the following error messege
everytime I go into browser or just after I close my
browser. "Error running winupd.dll" "the specified
module was not found". The same error message comes up
for the wincore.dll. From what I can tell, everything is
working fine, but it is just annoying. I thought is was a
problem with SBC Yahoo, but after a couple hours with them
yesterday, it was determined that this could be a
microsoft problem. This started after removing spy/adware
with Norton. Not sure if I need to find wincore.dll &
winupd.dll and add back to system. Please help.

It looks like Norton has not done its job.
Winupd.dll is supplied by spyware and so is wincore.dll
Try this:
Ad-Aware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
(get updates immediately after installation)
