hi, i'm using WinMX on WinXP pro. Only recently then i encounter this problem of WinMX having error code (3) that WinMX cannot create the partially downloaded file on my system
i noted that this problem doesn't occur when downloading files with ENGLISH filenames. But when it comes to downloading files with NON-ENGLISH filenames (e.g japanese), it has this problem (i.e Error code (3)). It is noted that previously i don't have such problems, it only started to occur recently (few weeks)
Note
- i'm the admin, so have full right
- HDD has ample of space left, few GB
- uninstalled, and reinstalled WinXP and WinMX doesn't solve the problem
- change the WinMX destination folder to another newly create folder also doesn't help
