Sorry if this has been posted before....
Anyone having trouble with WinFixer? It seems to just
show up and say it's installing. The company I work for
had no instances of WinFixer before Friday; now we have
three. MSAS does not detect it....

I did Google for it. It looked legitimate. But the fact
remains that none of my users tried to install this
thing. It just showed up and tried to install itself.
When it shows up and informs you that it will now install,
the only button it gives you is "Continue". You can close
the window, but this is the kind of UI that disreputable
companies use to take advantage of the uneducated. Also,
when I went to the Winfixer website (see, I do my
research....) I was unable to find any contact info for
the company.

This program is not using ethical installation practices.
