Hello,
First off I have never encountered such a big headache configuring VPN
and Terminal Services. So many different configuration options
(Windows2000 server) makes my head spin. Okay with that out of the way
here is my problem.
I have one user with a roaming profile. Works like a charm here at the
office on many different computers. A VPN connection on a laptop from
home is a totally different story. It doesn't work. I get conflicting
reports saying that roaming profiles over a VPN connection do not
work. SOme ppl say that it does work. ANyone have a definitive anwser
to this?
So I decided to just go with a terminal service connection. Set one up
here at the office and it does not update any changes to the roaming
profile...infact it doesn't even pull the same desktop environment
from the terminal server that she has on her desktop. I could go on
and on and on but maybe someone can set me straight somewhat before i
really start to ramble.
Thanks
