Windows XP Pro will not save any passwords

I purchased an HP ze5375 with XP Home installed, I
upgraded to a copy of XP Pro, that cause my networking
functions to be grayed out, I installed the SP1 and that
fixed that.

My problem now is, even with my account setting at Admin,
no program will save the passwords, not MSIE, not
FrontPage, not Outlook, none, I have hit the box save
password, but each time any pass worded application is
run, I must reenter the password????

HELP!!!!!
