Windows XP Home edition System restoration

For some reason I no longer have System Restoration
Check points beyond today on my computer.

I have checked under system properties and I have enough
space allocated for perviouse restore dates. System
restore has not been turned off.

Every time Windows XP creates a new restore point the
other restore points are eliminated. The only restore
point I have is for today.

As reciently as two weeks ago I had restore dates back
more than two months.

Can anyone help?

Have you tried going to System Restore and checking System Restore Settings
on the Welcome Page?
