Windows XP - Academic Edition

Hi, All

How many computers will MS allow XP Professional (Academic Edition) be
installed on?

For that matter, what are the differences between the regular and Academic
Edition veresions of XP?

Hello,

There is nothing called Windows XP academic edition. Either you might have purchased a copy of
Windows XP with a student discount or you might have obtained Windows XP through the MSDNAA program
that your school might be a part of. In either case, a single licence of Windows XP can only be
installed on one machine at a time.

Yes, scroll down that page and you will find that it is academic licencing, but the actual product
is still Windows XP Professional with SP2. Its a different licencing strategy but technically the
product is still the same. Thats what I was referring to. I apologise if i had created any
confusion.
