Hallo guys,

where can I download the Windows Vista MUI German.
In our company we use the Enterprise Edition but still there´s no oportunity
to download a MUI (MSDN, Technet).

Thanx for any help.

In der Ultimate gibts die LPs ganz einfach via Systemstrg - WindowsUpdates
als "optionale Updates", auch Ultimate Extras ( ein Pokerspiel und Bitlocker
EFS ) stehen dort zur Auswahl.

For users of Windows Ultimate the language packs are listed in the
available updates
The answer does not address Enterprise Edition directly.

Smartie:
I'm running Vista Enterprise and no language updates are available.
The language packs may be available for Ultimate only or not available in
the US. Have a great day.

sorry, I didn't thought about.

I am answering in both english and german newsgroups the vista questions and
have mixed it here.

I wanted to say, like Mike Brannigan is right :

if you use a Ultiamte Edition than the Languagepacks can be choosen via the
built-in Vista Update Tool as optional components together with some new
Ultiamte Extras like a cardgame of poker and EFS Extra for the Bitlocker
feature.

These Extras were showing up on german Ultimates around Midnight for the
first time, together with 7 or 8 regular updates.

As Enterprise has multi-language support and Bitlocker, too I indicated that
these "add-ons" would be there in Enterprise Vista, too ( Ultimate and
Enterprise are pretty much the same, subtracted the Media-Extras of
Enterprise which are not there to find)

Well, I would guess then that the LPs might be available via special
Volume-Licensing or kind of MSDN-page if they do not show up automatically.

Just have a phone call to your Microsoft Dealer might also help.

thanks

smartie
