Hi

I recently looked in my Windows Repair folder and it is empty!

Can anyone please advise me why this might happen, and help me to remedy
this problem?

Hi Trace,

I don't know why this happened, but there is an easy way to update the
Repair folder. Starting the NTBackup's ASR procedure updates the Repair
folder automatically.

Here is a script to automate the process.

How can I update the \%systemroot%\repair folder under Windows XP and
Windows 2000?:

Or even better, download and install ERUNT (registry backup utility, a
freeware) I create backups on a daily basis, and maintain the registry
backups for the past 10 days, which is then FIFO'ed.
