Windows Media PLayer Error Message 80040155 "Interface not Registered"

I recieved the folllowing error message while trying to
copy to a cd using Windows Media Player 9 for XP.

Error Message Number: 80040155

Interface not Registered

I just recently installed a windows update and notice
that it stopped working after i had installed it. Could
this be the reason why it is not working, and if so, is
there a way for me to rollback the update so it will work
again?
