Windows Logo Testing

Please Help

When ever i attempt to install dirctx of any version the
windows logo testing message appears and the installation
fails. I have told my PC to ignore the testing however
the message continues to appear.

Can anyone shead any light on my plight.

Go to control panel- add/remove programs- add remove
windows components and uncheck the update root
certificate. This should help.
