Windows Logo screen

I made a change to my computer to remove the windows logo
screen on start up and now I don't remember what I did to
do that. I believe I did something in the registry. Can
someone tell me how to reverse what I did.

Thanks

There are a couple of ways. Both that I know of involve the BOOT.INI file.
Go to Control Panel, System, Advanced, Startup and Recovery, Settings. In
the System startup section click the Edit button. Locate the line that
loads XP and look for a /SOS or a /NOGUIBOOT on the end of the command line.

Typically the line looks similar to this:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP
Professional" /fastdetect
