Windows Installer spuriously activated by Windows Explorer

Whenever I try to copy a file from one folder to another with Windows
Explorer, whether using "drag and drop" or "copy and paste", Windows
Installer is spuriously activated. I obviously hit "Cancel", but Windows
Installer is immediately brought up again. The process repeats itself two or
three times before the requested file operation is completed. The software
that Windows Installer/Explorer is attempting to install is "Roxio Easy Media
Creator 7".

I am running Windows Server 20003 Standard, and have administrator
priviledges. Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition is installed, with the
latest virus updates. I just finished a scan of the operating system
partition, which turned up nothing. I also ran RegClean.exe and jv16 Registry
Cleaner, but neither was able to solve the problem.

Any help will be gratefully appreciated!
