Hi All,

Pretty farmiliar stuff to many of you guys, no doubt, however I have been on a journey of learning so thus far what I have enacted to get my pc to function a little more efficiently is: perform a repair on some surface registry files, add a PDF utility, but the whole thing of mst's and msi's are starting to indicate to me that I am punching well above my weight, even though I read and comprehend well. In short, I would really appreciate, if any of you good folk could give me a 'simple' step by step 'idiots' guide as to how I can use the PDF to aid me in reinstalling the Windows installer, as I am trying to do simple stuff like removing the i-tunes suite download, and I am unable to do that, even though I can install some downloads, which is quite confusing. But I am a good listener, and if anyone would like to spend a little quality time imparting their knowledge I would be only to happy to give their suggestions a whirl. Sorry for being verbose, as i'm trying to convey as much pertinent stuff as I can. Many many thanks for your time

Hi Michael, I'm a little unsure what you are trying to do - so perhaps if you can paint us the bigger picture then we'll be able to help :). Are you trying to re-install Windows Installer because you were getting an error when trying to install iTunes? If so, what did it say as that may give us some clues as to what the problem could be.

Welcome aboard!

I would start with downloading the appropriate installer package for your computer. This will reinstall the Microsoft Windows Installer package. It will probably be on the first link. It will probably be for XP or Windows 7. Download the file to your desktop and double click it. The installer should run. Instal future programs at will
