Hey,
I've got to install sata drivers by pressing F6 during the Windows
2000 installation, but I get this error:
File txtsetup.oem caused an unexpected error (1024) at line 1044 in
d:\nt\private\ntos\boot\setup\oemdisk.c When the disk is read.
I have looked far & wide in search of a solution, so far I have
tried the following suggestions:
Brand new floppy disks,
Only inserting the disk,
Up-to-date drivers from the Gigabyte website,
Checking the floppy drive is working correctly,
Also I have tried not using the drivers, windows formats &
installs onto the harddrive but then can't see it when it tries to
boot, the solution to this problem I was told was to install the
drivers.
I looked into slipstreaming the drivers into the installation, but
when I copy my Windows 2000 4-in-1 CD to a harddrive it claims it is
1.5Gig so I can't copy it back to a CD. If someone
could tell me how to get it back on a CD, that's atleast a roundabout
solution...!
I have really tried hard to find the solution to this problem, but no
joy, I've now had my beautiful new puter for nearly a week &
still haven't been able to try it out! Please help me!!
My spec:
AMD64 3500+
GA-8KNXP-SLI
74Gb Raptor
4x512MB PC4000 Ballistix Memory (yes, I know all about the memory
problem, discovered just after ordering Sad )
Geforece 6800 GT
Thanks guys!
