Windows Firewall Off Alerts

I use zonelab firewall and from time to time I need to turn the firewall off
for a few minutes. Windows has stopped warning me the firewall is off. I've
just discovered my firewall has been off for about a week. How do I turn the
firewall off alert back on?

Open Control Panel >> Security Center >> and on the left, click on "Change
the way Security Center notifies me" and make sure the box for firewall is
checked.

OK I went to security center like you suggested (thanks for that!) but
everything was already set to alert me if the firewall was off. So I tried
switching the alert off then rebooted and switched the alert back on, but it
still doesn't tell me when my firewall is off. Any other suggestions? I
should mention that about 2 weeks ago spybot S&D 1.4 found that a registry
setting for firewall notification was altered but I just told spybot to
correct the problem and it said it had. When I run spybot now I don't find
any problems. Or virues for that matter (AVG Free)Any help would be
appreatiated
