Windows Explorer Size and Balloons

W

Walt Stanley

Hi: How do I get Windows Explorer to open full screen? It keeps
reverting to a smaller size.

Those Balloons with information about my start up menu, when new
hardware is found, etc.. Can they be eliminated?

TIA, Walt

Balloons, Pop-up folder descriptions and so on are best
turned off in the registry. If you want the routes e:mail
me. As for the starting in full screen all you have to do
is right click on the desktop shortcut and then click
properties and then under the "run" line you can click the
drop down list and choose whatever you want. You should be
able to stretch the window to full screen size and then
shut it down and when you next open it it should be full
screen then.
