Windows Explorer misbehavior

Hello All:

I edited my Tool>Folder Options>File Types> File Folder by adding a script
from MS knowledge base that was supposed to enable the print diretory feature
to Windows Explorer (MS Article ID#272623). Now that I have done so, I cannot
access folders in the Left Pane of the navigation windows. When I
double-click on a folder, the action that is taken is to open the Search
function.

The loss of the functionality is very disturbing as I must prepare for the
upcoming Spring Semester. Can anyone help me?

I tried system restore to no avail!

I had that same problem after installing print directory. It is a
known issue, and there is a fix for it on the MS website. They just
don't tell you that when you enable that "feature" that it'll mess
things up and you'll need to do the fix in short order..
