windows does not remember my passwords

Even if I clik on the check box to have the computer
remember my password, it does not do so during my next
connection to any password protected area. Does anyone
know what the problem is?

I got similar problem without the "Remember My Password" option in all login
dialog box. Is the fix can fix my problem too?
