Windows defender was unable to complete the update: 0x8024402c.

Hello

This message is the result of Check for Updates Button.
It could never update since original installation.
I had AntiSpyware Beta1 installed before install Windows Defender.

Any clue?

Yes, I did it after I post this message and successfully updated Windows
Defender.
Anyway Windows defender has that message if I don't update using that method.
I left the question here because it actually isn't answered... I take this
is a workaround.

So, as a result, I have my Windows Defender Up & Running, but not asi it
mean to be.
