Windows 2003 Shared Fax not working with XP Fax Console

J

Jay Goodier

I have successfully set up a shared fax in Windows 2003
(Standard ed) and shared the fax printer. On the XP
client I tried to install it on I can fax to the shared
fax printer, but I cannot view the faxes in the Fax
Console. It also says "all fax printers are inaccessible"
I am having this problem on a bunch of client machines.
Any suggestions? I have already tried this:

I have also setup the fax printer on my 2000 servers, and
they can view the queues just fine.

Have you applied SP1 on Windows XP?
Visit http://suport.microsoft.com and select "Find and Download
software" ->"Product Service Packs". Select Windows XP.

Are the Clients running XP or XP Sp1? Can you check that whether the same
problem exists from any of your XP Sp1 client boxes?

Thanks,
Anand
